Stop Falling Debris at the Slab Edge

Tools, fasteners, and building materials that fall from upper floors put crews, neighbors, and sidewalks at risk. ATI Construction Products supplies two netting systems that clamp straight onto the slab: the DS-1320 for falling debris and the RB-412 for personnel fall protection, plus custom netting when a standard system doesn't fit.

  • Patent-pending slab bracket fits decks from 4" to 22" deep
  • Quick adjustment with an impact wrench
  • DS-1320 meets ANSI A10.37 for falling debris
  • RB-412 is rated for fall protection: OSHA 1926 and ANSI A10.11-2016
  • Galvanized for durability and made in the USA
  • Same-day quotes and nationwide shipping from Arvada, Colorado

Easy to Install at the Working Level

  1. DS-1320 slab bracket clamped onto the edge of a concrete deck

    Clamp to the slab

The patent-pending slab bracket fits over the deck edge, on decks from 4″ to 22″ deep.

  2. An impact wrench adjusting the DS-1320 slab bracket to the width of the deck

    Tighten with an impact wrench

Adjust the bracket to the right width with an impact wrench and secure it to the deck.

  3. DS-1320 arm extended from the slab bracket with its support cable

Extend the arm and hang the net

The arm extends up to 13 feet and is held by a 3/8″ support cable. The netting attaches at the eyenut on the end of the arm.

Debris and Safety Netting FAQ

Answers from ATI Construction Products.

What is the DS-1320 Debris Netting System?

The DS-1320 is a galvanized steel debris netting system from ATI Construction Products that installs at the working level, clamped to the edge of the slab. Its adjustable arm extends 13 feet from the slab edge to catch material falling from the levels above, and it is designed to meet ANSI A10.37.

Is the DS-1320 rated for fall protection?

No. The DS-1320 is built for falling debris and is not rated for fall protection. Where workers need protection from falls, use the RB-412 PSN Personnel Safety Netting System, which is rated for fall protection and compliant with OSHA 1926 and ANSI A10.11-2016.

What is the difference between debris netting and safety netting?

Debris netting catches tools, fasteners and materials that fall from upper levels, and it is not rated to catch a person. Personnel safety netting is rated for fall protection and is designed to catch workers who fall. ATI's DS-1320 is a debris netting system built to ANSI A10.37, and the RB-412 PSN is a personnel safety netting system that meets OSHA 1926 and ANSI A10.11-2016. Many high-rise jobs use both.

How far below the work surface can a safety net be installed?

Under OSHA 1926.502(c), a personnel safety net must be installed as close as practicable under the working surface and never more than 30 feet below it. It has to extend 8 to 13 feet out from the edge, depending on how far below the work it hangs, and be drop-tested with a 400-pound bag after it is installed. Call ATI at (800) 360-6115 to plan an RB-412 layout for your building.

What slab thicknesses do the netting brackets fit?

Both the DS-1320 and the RB-412 use a patent-pending slab bracket that fits decks from 4 to 22 inches deep. The bracket is adjusted to the slab and tightened with an impact wrench.

Can I rent safety netting, or do I have to buy it?

The RB-412 PSN Personnel Safety Netting System is available to rent or to buy. Call (800) 360-6115 for DS-1320 and custom netting options and pricing for your project.

Can ATI design netting for an unusual building or site?

Yes. ATI designs custom debris and containment netting systems to your site's exact dimensions and load requirements. They can work alongside the DS-1320 and RB-412 or on their own.

How fast can I get a quote, and do you ship?
